The method

The SPEED
Mastery System

Five stations. Twenty-four chapters. Sixty-four exercises. Built from twenty years of selling, and anchored in the text rather than decorated with it.

A system, not a set of tricks.

Most sales training is a pile of tactics with no spine. You learn a questioning technique here, a closing line there, and none of it holds together when the conversation goes somewhere you did not plan for.

SPEED is built the other way round. Each station depends on the one before it. Positioning determines who you approach. Who you approach determines how you open. How you open determines what they are willing to tell you. What they tell you determines what you can honestly show them. And all of it determines whether the final question is a formality or a fight.

Every station is taught the same way: the narrative first, then the principle underneath it, then the modern skill that follows from it. That order matters. Skills learned without a foundation fall over the first time a month goes badly.

“whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men”Colossians 3:23 · ASV

A note on how scripture is used here. Every anchor below is used for what the passage is actually about. Where a text is commonly stretched to mean something it does not say, I say so in the teaching rather than quietly borrowing its authority.

Station I

Strategic Positioning

C.L.E.A.R.

Most people cannot say what they do without either shrinking it or inflating it. Positioning fixes that first, because everything downstream inherits it. We work out what you genuinely carry — the skill, the history, the temperament, the unfair advantage you have stopped noticing — and build language for it that holds up when someone pushes back. Not a slogan. A sentence you can say out loud without flinching.

What changes:

  • A positioning statement you can say to a stranger without apologising for it
  • A clear picture of who you are actually for, and who you are not
  • Language for your work that does not borrow anyone else’s voice

“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding … to devise skilful works.”Exodus 31:3–4 · ASV

Station II

Prospecting Powerhouse

R.I.F.L.E.

Nehemiah rode out at night and surveyed the ruins before he said a word to anyone about rebuilding. That is the whole discipline. Call reluctance is rarely a courage problem; it is almost always a preparation problem. When you know something true and specific about the person you are approaching, the approach stops feeling like an intrusion and starts feeling like a reason. We build you a repeatable system for finding the right people and arriving already informed.

What changes:

  • A defined list of the people worth your attention, and why
  • A research routine that takes minutes, not hours
  • An opening approach that earns a reply because it could only have been written to them

“And I arose in the night … and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down.”Nehemiah 2:12–13 · ASV

Station III

Engagement Excellence

E.A.S.E.

The single most expensive habit in selling is answering before you have heard. It feels like helpfulness and lands like a pitch. This station rebuilds how you run a conversation: the questions that open someone up, the silences you learn to leave, and the discipline of staying curious past the point where you think you already know the answer. People buy from those in front of whom it is safe to be honest.

What changes:

  • A discovery structure you can run without notes
  • The questions that surface what someone actually needs, not what they first say
  • A way to sit in a conversation without the urge to fill every gap

“He that giveth answer before he heareth, it is folly and shame unto him.”Proverbs 18:13 · ASV

Station IV

Expertise Exhibition

S.A.M.

Claiming expertise is weak. Demonstrating it is unanswerable. This station is about assembling your genuine proof — the stories, the results, the things you have actually seen — and learning to deploy them at the moment they are useful rather than the moment you are nervous. Done properly, you stop persuading. You simply show what is true and let the other person draw the obvious conclusion.

What changes:

  • A working library of your own proof stories, ready to use
  • A way to demonstrate expertise that never tips into boasting
  • Material you can reuse across conversations, writing and speaking

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings.”Proverbs 22:29 · ASV

Station V

Deal Deployment

C.A.S.H.

Almost everything taught about closing is a technique for making no harder to say. Strip those out and what remains is the ability to ask a clear question and receive a real answer. That is the station most people are frightened of and it is the one that changes fastest, because the fear is nearly always about manipulation. Once you are no longer trying to engineer a yes, asking becomes straightforward.

What changes:

  • A close you can say in one sentence, without a script
  • A way to handle a no that keeps the relationship intact
  • Terms, follow-up and next steps agreed without ambiguity

“But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay.”Matthew 5:37 · ASV

What SPEED is not

It is not a prosperity system. Nothing here suggests that God rewards faith with revenue, or that a difficult quarter is evidence of a spiritual problem. That teaching has done real damage to real people, and this is built deliberately against it.

It is not a pressure system. There are no techniques here for making a no harder to say, no artificial deadlines, and no scripts engineered to work on someone who has already decided.

It is not a personality transplant. You will not be taught to be louder, warmer, or more relentless than you are. The entire premise is that the person you already are is the one being sent.

Learn it properly,
with someone who has done it.

Strength and peace in the same breath.
